我在唐樓的日子

上週參加了一個有關Asian Shophouse 的研討會,想起五年前的夏天到越南Ho Chi Ming City和Hue的小旅館,算是在唐樓住過一陣子... 唐樓旅館多是一整幢的,地下是Reception/Travel Agency/Breakfast 多功能廳,房間樓底很高,配以吊扇和裝飾天花紙,shocking green/blue/pink牆身。有的還有露台可以一邊嘆room service越南咖啡和扎肉baguette,一邊看看街上尖草帽的頭頂。 地方也很清潔,試過有一家是要求住客在地下脫鞋,連拖鞋也沒穿的赤腳上下樓梯。起初是怪怪的,習慣了反而有家的感覺,腳掌貼著冰涼的地板,房間和大堂的私密/公共性也隨之變得模稜。

yes, they served vietnamese style coffee and 扎肉baguette!!!

Yeah, actually staying in a historic B&B was a great experience. When I was having my Italy trip last year, all those accomodation I chose were old tenements :P They are great!!!!!
